The Macharian Cross
The Macharian Cross is the most common award given to young officers. It is awarded for intelligent application of the Tactica Imperialis. Its bearers are more likely to be recruited into the general staff for future crusades and campaigns. This honor is held by LTC Wiemers and LTC Adam.
The Honorifica Imperialis
This medal is awarded within each segmentum so its proper name would be Ultima Honorifica. The Honorifica designates one of the greatest heroes of the Imperium and its bearer will have the respect of his comrades and superiors. This honor is held by Colonel Sir Zeller.
The Medallion Crimson
The Medallion Crimson is a fairly common medal amongst Veteran Guardsmen. It is issued to soldiers who have sustained the worst injuries but never lost faith in the Emperor.
Honours within the Uradeln Regiments:
While an Uradeln may wear Regimental medals with great pride, Imperial Guard Honours are held in the highest prestige, so The Honorifica Imperialis replaces the Valour Medal and The Medallion Crimson replaces the Wound Badge. There are 3 successive classes of each Regimental award: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, which are gold, silver, and bronze. Each higher class replaces the prior medal.
