5 June 2009:  Glorious victory for 1^st Company, 2^nd Battalion, in the first battle in which Uradeln officers led their troops into battle!  Our troops have liberated the city of Petrohafen.  Casualties were light and morale was high.  These Uradelns, along with Space Marine allies, dominated an insidious Eldar force, the Drache-Uten, or “Dragon Guard,” who were allied to Chaos Warp spawn.  The Space Marine Librarian countered most spells of the two Eldar witches and then killed one, and our Captain Wiemers and Lieutenant Dokos provided inspiring leadership to the troops.  Captain Wiemers was thrice targeted by Eldar sorcery, who sought to blow up the Captain's brain, but the Space Marine Librarian protected him.  Captain Wiemers and his Command Squad were also targeted many times by weapons fire and he was wounded and patched up, staying in the fight.  The Eldar suffered heavy losses and fled while the Chaos Warp spawn were virtually annihilated.  1^st Company's 1^st Platoon was involved in the heaviest fighting and as such, each member of this unit has received Uradeln awards: the Valour Medal, 3^rd Class.  Captain Wiemers has been awarded the Wound Badge, 3^rd Class.  Colonel Sir Zeller, the Commander of the Regiment, has written the Captain up for The Macharian Cross.  We all hope that he will be approved, which will make him the first of the Uradeln 21^st Regiment to win an Imperial Guard Honour.
