8 January 2011: Four Glorious Victories!

8 January 2011:  Fierce fighting has broken out once again after a period of relative calm and the unbeatable Uradelns have won a series of glorious victories over the myriad foes of Mankind!  Alpha Company, 1^st Battalion, under Captain Kleinsorge, and Alpha Company, 2^nd Battalion, under Captain Manarang fought two separate battles on the same day against the Traitor Astartes known as the Sons of Malice.  At the same time, Dark Eldar raiders made another futile and failed attempt to raid planet Scelus by attacking Charlie Company, 2^nd Battalion, under Captain Scherffius, whose company is understrength.  Such is the nature of the cowardly Eldar that they would never dare to fight against a full strength enemy.  And finally, foul Warp beasts suddenly clawed their way into existence from the Immaterium to attack Bravo Company, 3^rd Battalion, under Captain Donovan, whose men were occupying a ravaged urban landscape. 

The Traitor Sons of Malice sent Terminators and Assault Bikes against Captain Kleinsorge and the battle erupted in the midst of random Warp Storms.  3^rd Platoon (HUG) bravely fought to the last man and protected the armor, artillery, and command elements while our air support outflanked the enemy and deployed veteran troopers, who cut off the enemy's line of retreat.  Only a small number of the enemy managed to escape during the confusion of the Warp Storms and they shall be hunted down like the curs that they are!

They sent regular Chaos Space Marines hiding in metal boxes into a jungle battlefield against Captain Manarang.  Our ordnance, heavy weapons, and air support proceeded to quickly destroy the enemy from long range and very soon the Traitor Sons of Malice were in full retreat.

The Dark Eldar were apparently trying to secure an ancient artifact as well as doing the usual slave raid.  After our superior fighting men under Captain Scherffius slaughtered most of the fragile xenos, the last two surrendered as they were completely surrounded by 2^nd Platoon (HUG).  These prisoners have now been handed over to the Ordo Xenos of the Holy Inquisition. 

Captain Donovan's men reacted to the sudden appearance of Warp freaks by pouring overwhelming firepower into them and sending them back into the Immaterium from whence they came.  1^st Platoon (HUG) heroically fought to the last man against two groups of Plague-bearers and a Plague-ridden monstrosity, thus  protecting the armor, artillery, and command elements and ensuring victory.
