19 February 2010:  The recently reconstituted Alpha Company, 3^rd Battalion, under newly promoted Captain Burba conducted a paintball training exercise with 1st Co. 3rd Bn. 13th Palathion Regiment “Steel Hawks.”  The training, made possible by additional Imperial Guard and Space Marine reinforcements on Zarevok, was mutually beneficial to both Guard Companies.  We Uradelns are integrating newly conscripted Zarevoki feral worlders--who have never before been exposed to modern technology--and thus bringing our Regiment back up to full strength after the attrition of conquering the planets Tergerus and Aurignac prior to our arrival on Zarevok.  Our allies in the 13^th Palathion are a newly raised Regiment and although they have stellar officers from Cadia, their troopers lack experience.  Among the valuable lessons learned: Auto cannons kill Las cannons, taking cover works against incoming fire, Sturmtruppen should be fully reinforced rather than sent in piecemeal, three different squads of troops have a very hard time coordinating an outflanking operation, and leaders must immediately rally their troops when a squad threatens to break in the face of the enemy.  Within a week, while the Uradeln 21^st Regiment continues to enjoy its R&R, many of its officers, including Colonel Sir Zeller, will attend a Military Ball.  Our dashing leader will be taking a beautiful Zarevoki princess as his date.
