12 June 2009:  3^rd Company, 1^st Battalion fought bravely against the treacherous tactics of Chaos Marine “Iron Warriors,” before tactically withdrawing from the beaches of Engelwurz to the more strategic hedge country just beyond, which keeps our front lines from being over-extended.  In their cowardice, the Traitor Marines first used orbital bombardments that killed many brave Uradelns before they could properly fight the Heretics face to face!  Once the enemy spewed forth from their abominable landing craft, a Chaos Sorcerer employed its twisted warp magic throughout the battle, causing numerous Uradeln units to become enraged at its Heretical ways and break cover, seeking to slay the foul creature, at which point, the cowardly Heretics gunned our brave soldiers down.  In a devious move that belies the underhanded mindset of our Enemy, a Raptor squad dropped behind our lines and joined some mindless, bloodthirsty Khornate Berserkers in destroying 2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks, then the base and inhuman enemy mercilessly cut down one still living Tank Commander, Lloyd.  Our brave Captain Pierson and his Company Command Squad, then down to 5 men total, successfully defeated a squad of 8 Iron Warriors in close combat without losing a man in that action, but the Chaos Sorcerer so enraged them that they twice sallied forth to kill it and were shot up by all manner of weapons fire from 3 enemy landing craft.  Miraculously, Captain Pierson and the Company Medic, Bruening, survived the battle.  Lieutenant Schmidt and his 3^rd Platoon died heroically.
