16 to 17 January 2011: The Traitor Sons of Malice, beaten and bloodied many times by the Uradeln 21st Regiment, chased across the surface of planet Scelus, have resorted to calling upon the aid of The Black Legion. This legion of fallen space marines once belonged to the Arch-Traitor, Horus, and it is one of the most vile and despised of the nine traitor legions.
Our valiant guardsmen have fought two large battles against the combined forces of traitor marines and in the second battle there were Imperial Space Marines as well as Skitarii – mechanically enhanced ground forces who normally support the Titan war machines of the Mechanicum - of the Adeptus Mechanicus fighting alongside us. Our conscripts from planet Aurignac - a planet that we liberated from the Tau long ago - who had up to this point been used only for support services, were needed at the front-line and so were hastily inducted into our HUG platoons. Unfortunately, the Aurignaci were not made of the same stern material as us Uradelns and the fleeing cowards had to be gunned down.
On a happier note, Colonel Sir Zeller's cousin, Duke Zeller, the ruler of Uradel, has sent reinforcements from Uradel to the 21st Regiment and we are now back up to full strength and ready to crush the enemies of Man! Also of note, Sergeant Grit Von Hausten, commander of the “Thunderous Applause,” one of our MLRS units, has been awarded the Valour Medal, 3rd Class for his brave deeds on Zarevok, particularly when he decimated an entire aspect warrior wave single handed. “Loss is acceptable, failure is not.”
