15 May 2009: 1st appearance of the Drache-Uten

15 May 2009:  Elements of 3^rd Company, 2^nd Battalion, The Uradeln 21^st Regiment, along with Space Marine allies, fought a horde of Orcs under the mind control of the insidious Eldar (Drache-Uten).  Our Regiment suffered its first defeat, though the infantry in particular fought most heroically while facing the brunt of the Orc assault.  One of our Leman Russ Battle Tanks was destroyed and the crew of 6 is KIA/MIA.  We were unable to recover the wreckage due to losing ground.  We also lost 2 heavy weapons and their crew is KIA/MIA, although 1 las cannon crewman escaped with his las cannon and rescued 3 other heavy weapons crewmen, who were medically discharged.  3 squads of infantry were decimated, with 23 KIA/MIA, 7 WIA, and just 3 of those 7 being returned to action.  Scouts report that the Eldar, who suffered light casualties against the Guard and Space Marines, later massacred the remaining Orcs after the latter had served their unknowable purpose.
