7 August 2010: As the Uradeln 21st Regiment continues its inexorable advance with the Fleet through the Warp, coming ever closer to the Hiveworld of Malis, dark tidings come from the beleaguered planet. Although the Lord Governor's daughter, Princess Zelda, has managed to send a Vox signal from where her and her retinue are holed up in the Mercantile and Pleasure District, a patrol of Malis PDF was mauled in a night ambush on its way to her position. The survivors fought through the ambush of zombies and cultists, but have since become holed up and besieged as well. Additionally, Inquisitor Lord Drache Verstand and his retinue attempted to break through to the Princess in order to rescue her Caladani handmaid, who is from a noble family of Caladan. Unfortunately, the Inquisitor's retinue was killed and Lord Drache was forced to return to the Palace of Peace, within Imperial lines.
Clearly, the Uradeln 21st Regiment is sorely needed in what is shaping up to be a hotly contested Zombie War. Although the Warp is unpredictable, Colonel Sir Zeller is hopeful that he and his regiment will arrive at Malis within one week's time.
